Why TechSpark?
- We use equitable and culturally relevant curriculum design
- We are passionate and experienced educators
- We understand and have faced the same barriers girls and youth of colour face when engaging with tech
- We expose youth to diverse forms of tech programming including virtual reality, mobile app development, coding and robotics
- We understand that girls and youth of colour need strong emotional and social skills to thrive in today’s society, so we intentionally focus on building these skills in each work shop
- We evaluate our student’s development and provide additional support where and when it’s needed
