Our professional development courses aid in cultivating cultural awareness training to develop authentic, deeper learning environments & generate meaningful engagement between our participants. Professional Development training through Tech Spark IGNITE enables teachers to create, connect, communicate and share their knowledge with students, while assisting in representing a distinct cultural consciousness that provides diverse, inclusive and global perspectives. Our courses are rich with knowledge, creativity and practical application. We provide digital and in-person training options for educators in the following courses:

Equity and CRT in the Classroom
This two part series will unpack and normalize the true meaning of CRT, train educators to understand how they can create classrooms that connect to student culture and equips participants with the resources needed to design their own culturally responsive instructional materials.
Check Your Bias
This series is designed to help educators and leaders become more aware of the implicit biases they have and acknowledge how they might show up in their classrooms and schools. Using the lens of Anti- Black racism, educators will have the opportunity to explore how their environment and value systems influences their implicit biases. With greater awareness, educators can successfully interrupt their biases in an effort to better serve their students.
The Process
- We will measure and determine the effectiveness of each school in and around equity, cultural relevance, and student achievement
- We will report our findings to school administration and staff members
- We will craft a professional development path based on any gaps in effectiveness
- We will provide a customized professional development course based on each cohort of educators
- We will develop key performance indicators to evaluate and measure the successful implementation of each educator
